Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Project Manager with strong Data & AI experience to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven solutions. You will work with data engineers, data scientists and business analysts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

This role requires a blend of project management discipline, technical understanding, and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable business outcomes through data, analytics, and AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5–10 years of project management experience, with 2–3 years in data, analytics, or AI projects.
• Knowledge of data lifecycle management, data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in agile or hybrid environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset; ability to liaise between tech and business.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data & AI initiatives, including scoping, planning, resources, budgeting and risk management.
• Define objectives, timelines and deliverables with cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists and business analysts.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies and ensure on-time delivery within scope.
• Ensure governance, security and data management standards are followed.
• Serve as primary point of contact for project communications and updates to leadership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong client and team relationships.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and change requests; drive continuous improvement.
