Job summary

Dyson IT Data is seeking a Data Specialist to join our Singapore team. You will work with Product Managers, BI Specialists, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to advocate data practices and deliver scalable data products.

Lead data-driven insights using Tableau, SQL and Python/PySpark, shaping data governance and analytics across business functions in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in data analytics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Tableau for analytics and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python or PySpark.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and governance concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google.
• Familiarity with project management tools, Jira & Confluence.
• Knowledge in Power Platform is a significant plus but not mandatory.

As part of the global data community, you will work within multi-disciplinary agile squads working alongside some of the best Product Managers, BI Specialists, Data Engineers and Data Scientists. IT Data is responsible for ensuring engineering excellence in the delivery of data products and solutions.

As an enthusiastic Data Specialist, you will advocate data practices through strong technical expertise. You will help internal teams transform from conventional practices to data-driven approach, while uncovering valuable insights. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding across business functions from Subject Matter Experts, while growing within the Data Analytics space.
