Dyson is seeking a Data Analytics & Insights Engineer to drive data preparation, analytics, and dashboard development. You will transform complex data into actionable insights for engineering and product teams, at the intersection of data engineering and analytics.
You will build reliable data products and visualizations using Python, SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, and Streamlit to enable data‑driven decisions across Dyson's product lifecycle.

We are seeking a Data Analytics & Insights Engineer to drive data preparation, analysis, pipeline management, and dashboard development, transforming complex data into actionable insights for engineering and product teams. Positioned at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, this role will enable informed decision-making through reliable data products, scalable data solutions, and impactful visualizations.
Analyze product,engineering, and machinedatato generate actionableinsights for Engineering and other teams within Dyson.
Translate stakeholder requirements into analytical frameworks, KPIs, metrics, and business-ready outputs.
Develop Python and SQL-based analyses to support business andengineering decision-making.
Identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and performance drivers through exploratory and structureddataanalysis.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear and meaningful manner to stakeholders.
Support the setup, validation, and maintenance of end-to-enddatapipelines spanning:Amazon S3 → Google Cloud Storage (GCS) → BigQuery
Build and maintain ETL workflows to create clean, reliable, and business-readydatasets.
Automate pipeline processes and implement monitoring to ensuredataquality, reliability, and availability.
Troubleshootdataissues and collaborate with technical teams to improvedataintegrity and scalability.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards usingTableauand/orStreamlit.
Create visualizations that effectively communicate product performance,usagetrends, validation outcomes, and other operational metrics.
Enable self-serviceanalyticscapabilities for stakeholders through intuitive reporting solutions.
Ensure dashboards remain accurate, performant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
Strong proficiency inPythonandSQLfordataanalysis anddatamanipulation.
Experience working with cloud-baseddataplatforms, preferablyBigQuery,GCP, andAWS S3.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/datapipelines.
Experience withdatavisualization and dashboarding tools such asTableauand/orStreamlit.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionableinsights.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with productanalytics,engineering telemetry, or user/machinedata.
Exposure todatawarehousing and modernanalyticsarchitectures.
Familiarity withdataquality monitoring and automation practices.
Experience supportingengineering, product, or R&D organizations.
