Job summary

SATS Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, invites an Intern to support the Technology Business Enablement team at AirFreight Terminal 5. You will help identify data sources, map data flows, and document data ownership and usage for the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) project.

Gain hands-on experience in data analytics, process mapping and data governance while contributing to project discussions and documentation.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, data analytics or related field.
Strong interest in data, technology and how information flows across processes.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders to gather and clarify information.
Good documentation and presentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Identify and document data sources across business functions and systems.
Engage data owners and stakeholders to understand data source, purpose and usage.
Map data flows from source systems to downstream applications and IOC use cases.
Develop and maintain a data inventory and mapping documentation.
Identify data gaps and quality issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
Create data-layer and data-flow diagrams describing data structure and movement.
Consolidate findings and prepare materials for project discussions and reviews.
