Job summary

INCOME INSURANCE LIMITED is seeking a Data Migration Business Analyst to represent the business through data readiness, transition and cutover. The role ensures business teams are prepared for migration activities, leads data quality efforts, and coordinates communications with customers regarding data impacts, timelines, and readiness.

You will document processes, maintain issue logs, and support post-go-live stabilisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems
• 10+ years' experience in Business Analysis or Data Readiness roles
• Experience in transformation, migration, or cutover-driven projects preferred
• Ability to engage diverse business stakeholders and drive task completion
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data readiness insights
• Business Analysis skill in delivering business requirement process
• Project management skill in executing and managing user acceptance testing and planning
• Savvy in the application of latest technology
• Proactive, resourceful, and an effective facilitator with the ability to engage stakeholders across various business domains
• Self-managing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high quality of work
• Excellent oral and written communication including listening and dispute resolution skills. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and consultative skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business data requirements, readiness criteria, and cleansing needs.
• Work closely with Business SMEs to define ownership, usage, and criticality of key data elements.
• Highlight business impacts of data gaps, legacy constraints, and readiness risks.
• Drive business-owned cleansing activities and track progress across teams.
• Maintain business data issue logs, exception registers, and sign-off records.
• Convert technical data findings into clear, actionable business insights.
• Coordinate communication to customers and customer-facing teams regarding data freeze periods, migration timelines, and readiness activities.
• Prepare customer-facing FAQs, communication notices, and impact summaries.
• Track customer-raised issues and ensure timely resolution and updates.
• Contribute to the Business Transition Plan covering tasks, dependencies, and approvals.
• Prepare business cutover documentation including checklists, validation scripts, and readiness reports.
• Act as the business representative during cutover, documenting progress, risks, and decisions.
• Support business teams in validating live data during hypercare.
• Maintain stabilisation dashboards, issue logs, and reconciliation summaries.
• Coordinate communication and follow-up actions for customer or business-raised issues.
• Produce clear, structured documentation such as:
• Business Readiness Packs
• Data Cleansing Playbooks
• Customer Communication Plans
• Cutover Runbooks (Business Section)
• Hypercare and Lessons Learned reports
• Ensure all materials are version-controlled and audit-ready.
