Job summary

DUOTECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data marts and data warehouses that support business analytics and reporting.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks, optimize performance, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver reliable datasets and governance. Proficiency in SQL and Python is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development with end-to-end data marts/warehouses.
• Strong data mart/data warehouse modeling experience (Kimball preferred).
• Hands-on Databricks (Spark, PySpark) experience.
• Solid experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of data partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Strong English proficiency; Chinese proficiency advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data marts to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using scalable data processing frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into dimensional models (star/snowflake).
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across datasets.
• Optimize query performance and data storage for downstream consumption.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, operations to deliver actionable datasets.
• Work with data analysts and BI teams to enable self-service analytics.
• Implement data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data layer.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and data issues.
