Job summary

DUOTECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data marts and data warehouses that support business analytics and reporting.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks, optimize performance, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver reliable datasets and governance. Proficiency in SQL and Python is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development with end-to-end data marts/warehouses.
• Strong data mart/data warehouse modeling experience (Kimball preferred).
• Hands-on Databricks (Spark, PySpark) experience.
• Solid experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of data partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Strong English proficiency; Chinese proficiency advantageous.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across datasets
• Optimize query performance and data storage for efficient downstream consumption
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) to deliver actionable datasets
• Work closely with Data Analysts and BI teams to enable self-service analytics
• Implement data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data layer
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and data issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development, with hands-on experience building data marts or data warehouses end to end
• Strong experience in data mart / data warehouse modeling (Kimball methodology preferred)
