Job summary

NORVEXA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting multiple business units and driving data-driven decisions. You will develop and maintain databases, run SQL queries, and create dashboards with Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.

You will work with cloud-based platforms, focus on data quality, and collaborate across teams to design analytical solutions with a strong emphasis on impact and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database architecture.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Certifications in database administration, data analytics, or related fields are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support analytical requirements and business operations.
• Create and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from complex database structures.
• Perform statistical analysis and trend identification to uncover actionable insights from large datasets.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify data requirements and develop tailored analytical solutions.
• Monitor data quality and implement procedures to maintain database integrity.
• Support the optimisation of database performance and efficiency.
• Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to support strategic decision-making.
