Job summary

Bank of Singapore Limited is seeking a Data Governance Data Scientist to transform governance processes through automation and AI agents. You will operationalise data governance, monitor critical reports, and drive scalable workflows across the bank.

You will partner with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology, design an enterprise ontology, and develop semantic standards to support data discovery and future AI use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Data Science, Eng, or analytics.
• 8+ years in data governance, data management, or automation in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, ownership, and lineage.
• Hands-on workflow automation and AI/agent development experience.

Responsibilities

• Operationalise and expand data governance across Critical Reports and Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Manage data quality monitoring and reporting to governance committees.
• Identify and automate manual data governance workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Design, build, deploy and manage AI agents to execute governance workflows with controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology to embed governance requirements into BAU.
• Pioneer and establish enterprise ontology by mapping business concepts to data, processes and controls.
