Job summary

Workato is seeking an exceptional Data Engineer Intern to join our growing team. You will design and implement data pipelines that load data from multiple sources into our data warehouse, building efficient data models that drive analysis and key business metrics.

You'll optimize analytical workflows using dbt Cloud, leveraging macros and packages to enhance productivity, while contributing to our CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Commitment of at least 6 months.
• Strong SQL skills (JOIN, CTE, window functions).
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt Cloud.
• Familiarity with ELT pipelines and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with AI solutions using LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines from multiple sources into a data warehouse.
• Build efficient data models to drive analysis and key metrics.
• Optimize analytical workflows using dbt Cloud and macros/packages.
• Improve CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to AI initiatives with Data Genie in Workato.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address data pain points.
