Job summary

Changi Airport Group (CAG) is advancing its Digital Transformation within the People Team by building a scalable HR data infrastructure. The Data Engineer will partner with the People Data Architect to construct a central People Data Middle Layer in Microsoft Fabric, building robust pipelines and semantic models to power advanced people analytics and AI initiatives.

The role involves integrating SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and Cornerstone OnDemand, securing APIs via Azure APIM, and enforcing

Qualifications

Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent.
4–8 years of data engineering with strong Azure and Fabric stack.
Advanced Python (PySpark) and T-SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
Experience handling dynamic requirements and communicating with stakeholders.
Ability to model and integrate disparate HR systems and data sources.
Strict adherence to data privacy protocols when handling sensitive HR data.

Responsibilities

Engineer the People Data Middle Layer using Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse.
Execute data integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Cornerstone OnDemand.
Model complex HR data and reconcile domain-specific mappings.
Work within an Agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
Implement data governance with lineage, metadata, and quality controls.
Enable self-service analytics by feeding Power BI semantic layers.
Ensure security/compliance with PDPA and access controls.
