Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a data engineer to own the operation and maintenance of data warehouses supporting mobile device and app data. You will model business processes, design scalable big data architectures, and develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure timely, accurate data loading.

You will write SQL and Python/Shell scripts, monitor pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to meet evolving data needs. Documentation of models and dictionaries will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of big data technology architecture (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Doris, Iceberg).
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.) with good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data warehouses (mobile device data warehouse, app data warehouse) ensuring data availability and reliability.
• Abstract and model Xiaomi-like business processes and implement a big data processing architecture suitable for complex scenarios.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
• Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot data quality issues, and implement alerting for anomalies.
• Write structured SQL and scripts (Python/Shell) to support data processing and reporting for business teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and product managers to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.

1. Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of data warehouse (mobile device data warehouse, app data warehouse), ensuring data availability and reliability.
2. Have an good understanding of Xiaomi's internet business, clearly abstract and model business processes, implement the big data processing architecture system suitable for Xiaomi's complex business scenarios, and continue to iterate.
3. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the data warehouse in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot data quality issues, and implement alerting mechanisms to proactively detect anomalies.
5. Write well-structured, efficient SQL and scripts (Python/Shell) to support data processing, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis requests from business teams.
6. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
7. Document data models, pipeline logic, and data dictionaries to maintain a healthy and accessible data knowledge base.

Requirements:
