Job summary

Xiaomi Technology in Singapore is seeking a data platform engineer to lead R&D for the data platform supporting Xiaomi internet businesses. You will help build scalable data infrastructure and the tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.

You will design Data as a Service (DaaS) for analytics and data science teams, enabling them to develop intelligent agile operations. You will drive internal process improvements, automating manual tasks and redesigning

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Good understanding of system performance and scaling.
• Familiar with at least one of the languages such as C++/Go/Java/Python.
• Have good team communication and collaboration skills.

4. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Qualifications

1. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields;
2. Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures;
3. Good understanding of system performance and scaling;
4. Familiar with at least one of the languages, such as C++/GO/JAVA/Python, and have some experience in Linux shell development;
5. Have good team communication and collaboration skills.
