Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Data Engineer to bridge business needs with data and analytics solutions. You will engage stakeholders, design data models and develop reliable datasets to support data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong SQL and hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI or AWS QuickSight, plus cloud data platform work (AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Glue). You will create dashboards, reports, and maintain data definitions across the business.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data engineering, BI or analytics.
Strong SQL skills covering data querying, transformation and modelling.
Hands-on experience developing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS, Amazon Redshift, S3 and AWS Glue.
Experience in data modelling for analytics, including star schema or dimensional modelling.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical and data requirements.

Responsibilities

Engage business stakeholders to understand data, reporting and KPI requirements.
Translate business needs into technical data specifications.
Develop data transformation logic and curated datasets for reporting and analytics.
Build data models using AWS Redshift or cloud-based data platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality through validation and controls.
Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
Build operational dashboards, ad-hoc analysis views and scheduled reports.
Maintain data definitions, business glossary, dashboard logic and technical documentation.
Support self-service analytics and enable business users to access and understand data effectively.
