Job summary

Temus is seeking a data engineering professional to design, build, and operationalize data solutions for public and private sector clients in Singapore. You will create data pipelines, onboard sources, and build assets for reporting, automation and AI/ML deployments.

You will work with cloud-first partners, apply serverless and containerization concepts, and contribute to scalable deployments while communicating effectively with diverse clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of designing, building and operationalizing data solutions and applications (with batch or streaming data).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks/Snowflake including setup, configuration, administration on cloud infrastructure followed by on-boarding data sources, building data pipelines and data assets for downstream consumption.
• Experience with AWS cloud data platforms (S3, RDS, Glue, Redshift).
• Proficient in at least one core language: Python, .Net (C#).
• Experience with setup and administration of Tableau server is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Kafka for data streaming (producer, topics and consumers).
• Excellent understanding on SQL data storage structures and storage/query optimizations.
• Mastered SQL querying to build any data presentations using joins, reference tables, groupings, statistics etc.
• Exposure to concepts like Serverless computing, CI/CD, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, code version control and automated testing.
• Strong ability to communicate with a broad range of clients, colleagues, and partners across a variety of contexts and formats.
