Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a leading technology consultancy in Singapore, seeks a data engineering specialist to design and implement data pipelines and data warehousing solutions for government agency projects. You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and developers to deliver scalable, secure data-driven applications.

The role involves building batch and real-time data pipelines, data extraction and integration, and developing backend services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Strong knowledge of data warehouses and data lake concepts
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Comfortable in Linux/Windows environments and scripting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy data tables, views and marts in data warehouses and data lakes.
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and flow; web scraping may be involved.
• Build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with project managers, data architects and developers to deliver data-driven products.
• Develop backend APIs and support databases for applications.
• Work in an Agile CI/CD environment with code reviews.
