Job summary

SportSG is hiring a Data Engineer – Business Intelligence & Dashboards in Singapore to bridge business needs with data engineering. You will transform stakeholder requirements into curated datasets and interactive dashboards that drive actionable insights across coaching, sports development and operations.

The role requires 3+ years in data engineering or BI, experience with AWS cloud data platforms and Tableau, and the ability to deliver self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Engineering, BI or Data Analytics.
• Experience with AWS / Cloud Data Platforms.
• Experience with Tableau dashboards and data visualisation.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business units to understand data and reporting requirements.
• Document KPIs, business rules and reporting use cases.
• Translate business requirements into technical data specifications.
• Work with AWS Data Architects and Data Engineers.
• Develop data transformation logic and curated datasets.
• Build and maintain analytical data models using Amazon Redshift / Data Lake.
• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Create operational dashboards, ad-hoc analysis and scheduled reports.
• Maintain data definitions, glossaries and dashboard documentation.
• Support self-service analytics and data discovery across the organisation.
