Job summary

IX Technology Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to design and develop M&E/data centre solutions based on client requirements. You will prepare technical proposals, system concepts, equipment selections and solution specifications, ensuring performance, reliability and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data centre M&E systems, particularly HVAC, electrical, UPS, power distribution, cooling, BMS and related infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with strong customer and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop M&E/data centre solutions based on client requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, system concepts, equipment selections and solution specifications.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, efficiency and industry standards.
• Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings and scope of work.
• Prepare technical submissions, method statements, compliance documents and presentations.
• Coordinate with design, project, procurement and site teams to ensure technical requirements are achievable.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, calculations and equipment specifications.
• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
