Job summary

CANATEC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to lead cooling-system projects for data centres and critical facilities. You will plan schedules, manage vendors, and drive end-to-end execution from setup to handover on customer sites.

The role requires hands-on installation, commissioning experience, MS Project/Excel proficiency, and strong problem-solving plus cross-functional coordination across ASEAN and China-bound travel.

Qualifications

• Min NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cooling systems and data centre cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
• Spearhead end-to-end project implementation from setup to handover.
• Manage vendors/subcontractors for quality, timeline, and cost adherence.
• Review specifications and perform equipment setup, startup and commissioning.
• Ensure safety compliance and prepare RAMS and safety reports.
