Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is hiring for a Service Technician / Engineer to support data centre cooling, CRAC/CRAH and chiller systems at site in Yishun. The role covers installation, testing, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of precision cooling equipment in a high-demand environment.

You will work 5.5 days with on-call standby, handle refrigerant charging and BMS integration, and provide timely onsite support with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in precision cooling (CRAC/CRAH or chiller equipment) preferred.
• Knowledge of refrigerant circuits, electrical schematics and BMS integration.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission precision cooling systems such as CRAC, CRAH and chiller equipment.
• Perform refrigerant charging, leak checks, piping, electrical connections and airflow testing.
• Integrate cooling systems with BMS via Modbus, BACnet or other protocols.
• Conduct preventive maintenance including filter replacement and motor checks.
• Check refrigerant levels, compressor performance and safety controls.
• Troubleshoot faults like compressor issues, refrigerant leaks and controller errors.
• Replace faulty components including compressors and PCB assemblies.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and provide onsite support.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance logs; train customers on operation.
• Coordinate with OEM support for warranty or technical matters and ensure safety compliance.
