PCSS in Singapore is seeking an IT support technician to assist the on-site data center with hardware deployment, maintenance, and monitoring. The role requires hands-on handling of equipment, lifting, and moving components, plus strong English communication to coordinate with regional teams.

You will work in a ticket-based environment, install and troubleshoot cables and hardware, and assist DIAT with shipping/receiving and inventory management during peak periods.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 year of experience in IT support & monitoring Data center environment.
• 6 months or more handling/maintaining any technical equipment or machinery.
• 1+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.

Aufgaben

• Supporting deployment of on-site Data center physical infrastructure.
• Installing, replacing and troubleshooting Cables and Hardware.
• Working within a ticket-based environment.
• Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
• As required, assisting the Data center Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping/receiving and inventory management to address high work volumes.
