Job summary

PCS Security Private Limited is seeking a DC Technician to support on-site Datacenter infrastructure deployment and maintenance. The role involves installing and troubleshooting cables and hardware, handling data-bearing devices, and operating in a ticket-driven environment.

The candidate should have 1-2 years IT support experience, be able to lift and maneuver equipment, and communicate effectively in English with regional teams. Experience with Apple iOS/Android testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support & monitoring Datacenter environment.
• Six months or more handling/maintaining any technical equipment or machinery.
• 1+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
• Experience carrying out testing of Apple iOS and Android mobile apps is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting deployment of on-site Datacenter physical infrastructure.
• Installing, replacing and troubleshooting cables and hardware.
• Handling data bearing devices (e.g. hard drives, SSDs).
• Working within a ticket-based environment.
• Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
• Assisting the Data center Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping/receiving and inventory management to handle high workload.
