Job summary

First Point Group is seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Manager for Data Centers to shape regional strategy and lead transformative initiatives across APAC and the Middle East from Singapore or Malaysia.

You will work with executives, engineering, and finance teams to assess investments, build robust models, and drive scalable growth, with a strong emphasis on governance and execution in multi-country environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related technical/commercial discipline.
• 10 to 12 years of professional experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or corporate strategy within technology or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong, demonstrable expertise in analytical problem-solving and complex financial modeling.
• Proven background in the technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, or data center industries.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-country regulatory and commercial environments across APAC and the Middle East.
• Strong strategic vision with a track record of successfully executing long-term corporate growth initiatives.
• Professional availability for deployment in Singapore or Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Spearhead regional strategic planning, business development roadmaps, and growth initiatives for data center operations.
• Drive complex operational transformation projects across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East markets.
• Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, capital expenditure (CapEx) forecasting, and economic feasibility analyses.
• Evaluate regional market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in the data center and cloud infrastructure sector.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and technical teams to align strategic growth targets with operational capabilities.
• Facilitate executive stakeholder workshops, steering committee meetings, and strategic alignment sessions.
• Prepare executive management presentations, investment committee memos, and performance tracking dashboards.
• Monitor and report key strategic milestones, project deliverables, and regional performance metrics.
