Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a procurement leader to own the strategic sourcing and category management of long-lead equipment for large-scale data center projects across APAC. You will oversee critical equipment categories, drive end-to-end procurement, and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to meet milestones.

The role requires strong negotiation, contract management, and familiarity with SAP/MRP and e-procurement tools.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management within infrastructure or data center environments.
• Hands-on experience sourcing critical data center infrastructure equipment.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, including T&Cs and warranties.
• Experience managing large-value procurement portfolios and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with SAP/MRP systems and e-procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead LLE procurement across APAC, including generators, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, chillers, and modular gear.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities: RFx, tender evaluation, contract negotiations, PO placement, delivery tracking.
• Drive cost optimization through benchmarking and supplier negotiations.
• Assess supplier risks and ensure supply chain continuity.
• Collaborate with technical, project, and delivery teams to align procurement with milestones.
• Develop procurement planning and reporting tools to improve visibility and execution.

About the Role

Lead the strategic sourcing and category management of critical long-lead equipment (LLE) for large-scale data center projects across APAC. This role combines technical expertise, commercial leadership, and supplier management to ensure cost-effective, timely, and reliable procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage LLE categories including generators, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and modular equipment.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFx processes, tender evaluation, contract negotiations, PO placement, and delivery tracking.
• Drive cost optimization through benchmarking, competitive bidding, and supplier negotiations.
• Assess supplier risks and implement strategies to maintain supply chain continuity.
• Partner with technical, project, and delivery teams to align procurement with project milestones.
• Develop procurement planning and reporting tools to improve visibility and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management within infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, or data center environments.
• Hands-on experience sourcing critical data center infrastructure equipment.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, including T&Cs, warranties, and liability provisions.
• Experience managing large-value procurement portfolios and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with SAP/MRP systems and e-procurement tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center programs.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or equivalent quality certification.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience managing procurement activities across multiple APAC countries.
