Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Project Manager to oversee data center build projects, expansions, and operations across international sites. You will coordinate MEP, commissioning, and readiness, review AutoCAD designs, and lead contractor teams to deliver mission-critical facilities.

Travel up to 50% to support regional deployments in Asia and North America, ensure high-density GPU deployments, and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
• 8+ years of data center construction or mission-critical environment experience.
• Strong knowledge of GPU infrastructure and HPC environments.
• Experience deploying GPU servers with relevant power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review AutoCAD drawings and docs.
• Willingness to travel ~50% regionally and internationally.

Job description

A fast-growing data center and GPU infrastructure provider is seeking a Project Manager to support the expansion, construction, and operation of mission-critical facilities across multiple international locations. Reporting to the Engineering Director, this role will oversee end-to-end data center build projects, including MEP infrastructure, commissioning, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of GPU environments, data center construction, AutoCAD drawing reviews, and contractor management. Frequent regional and international travel is required to support expansion projects and facility development.

Responsibilities

• Support new data center build, expansion, and upgrade projects from design through handover.
• Review AutoCAD drawings, engineering designs, MEP layouts, rack configurations, and power distribution systems.
• Oversee construction activities and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, cooling, and structured cabling systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and infrastructure handover activities.
• Ensure high-density GPU deployments are supported by adequate power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
• Oversee the integration of GPU servers with facility power, cooling, and connectivity systems.
• Monitor and maintain critical facility systems including UPS, generators, PDUs, cooling equipment, and environmental controls.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and support preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation, as-built drawings, installation records, and project reports.
• Support regional expansion projects across Asia and North America and travel to project sites as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience within data center construction, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of GPU infrastructure and high-performance computing environments.
• Experience supporting GPU server deployments and understanding associated power, cooling, and connectivity requirements.
• Proven experience managing data center construction projects and MEP works.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, structured cabling, and commissioning processes.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50%) to support regional and international projects.
• Strong communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
