Job summary

Google Data Center Operations in Singapore seeks a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain data center facilities and support infrastructure such as UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and cooling systems.

You will read blueprints, assist technicians, respond to abnormal conditions, and help integrate new equipment while aiming to improve efficiency and safety across critical systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certified training in a related technical field.
• 5 years of electrical experience in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to handle lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs with PPE and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shift rotations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Read blueprints/schematics and assist technicians on tours and system checks.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, and electrical distribution.
• Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
