Job summary

Google is seeking a Facilities Technician in Singapore to operate, monitor and maintain critical data center electrical and mechanical systems. You will read blueprints, assist senior technicians and ensure uptime while supporting safety, efficiency and cost-effective operations.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or certified training with at least 2 years of electrical experience in a related setting, flexible shifts, and the ability to work with contractors and safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certified training in a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of electrical experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use safety equipment per guidelines.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Read blueprints and sequences; assist technicians.
• Manage uptime of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities equipment.
• Support startup and integration of new electrical equipment.
