Job summary

Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore) is seeking a DCEO Engineer for Data Center Engineering Operations. You will lead engineering operations including risk management, planning, maintenance, and vendor coordination within our AWS data center environment.

The role requires 4+ years in data center or critical environments, a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts including night shifts and weekends
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Act as site primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage on-site contractor, sub-contractor and vendor activities
• Oversee maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems
• Generate change management requests and incident tickets for DCEO activities
• Coordinate with IT, Networking, Logistics, Safety, Security and other partners to optimize plant safety and efficiency
• Lead initiatives to increase facility capacity, efficiency and reliability
• Assist in recruiting efforts
• Support resolution of infrastructure engineering issues
• Trainee/mentor for 24x7 shift operations
