Job summary

SONG CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Application Manager to provide technical leadership and pre‑sales support for mission‑critical cooling and data center projects in Singapore.

You will evaluate customer requirements, develop technical solutions, bid support, and coordinate with sales, engineering, project and manufacturing teams. The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, experience with precision cooling and data center infrastructure, and the ability to translate complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, HVAC Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years in HVAC, precision cooling, chiller systems, data center infrastructure, or critical facilities engineering.
• Proficient in reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Strong knowledge of cooling technologies, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and system design principles.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.
• Excellent customer-facing, presentation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, manufacturing, projects, and service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications, tender requirements and drawings to understand project needs.
• Design optimized cooling solutions for data center infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, compliance matrices, equipment selections, and tender documents.
• Review cooling-load calculations, system designs and product configurations.
• Provide expert guidance on precision cooling, chilled water, liquid cooling, airflow management.
• Lead technical discussions during sales meetings, product presentations and workshops.
• Serve as primary technical contact during bid and proposal process.
• Coordinate with regional engineering, manufacturing, project and service teams.
• Facilitate smooth handover from sales to execution teams and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Engage with consultants, data center operators, end users and EPC contractors.
