Synapxe in Singapore offers a Data Analytics & Automation internship to analyse operational data, build dashboards, and develop automation solutions that improve processes.

You will work with real datasets, gain hands-on experience in data analytics, process improvement, and tools such as Power BI and Power Automate, Tableau, Excel, Python, and SQL, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, or SQL
• Basic understanding of data processing, reporting, and dashboard development
• Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, Power Platform, RPA tools) is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical findings data to identify trends, root causes, and recurring process issues
• Develop dashboards to improve visibility of process performance and gaps
• Review existing workflows (e.g., tracking, follow-ups, reporting) and identify inefficiencies
• Design and prototype automation solutions (e.g., reminders, status tracking, escalation workflows)
• Recommend improvements to enhance process standardisation and efficiency
