Job summary

Samsung Electronics is seeking a detail-obsessed junior Data Analyst to own our operational data workflows, performance forecasting, and KPI optimization. This role emphasizes data accuracy, routine reporting, and tactical KPI logic within a fast-paced environment.

You will tackle weekly data reviews, anomaly detection, and standardized reporting across large sales datasets, driving insights for the wider business team and supporting senior product and operations leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of analytical work experience with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Process-Oriented & Methodical: Thrives in a highly structured environment with repeatable weekly cadences and routine data maintenance.
• Attention to Detail: High standard for accuracy when dealing with high-volume performance data.
• Analytical & Reverse-Engineering Mindset: Exceptional comfort with numbers, logic, and working backward from target outputs to calculate ideal input

Responsibilities

• Weekly Data Review: Extract, aggregate, and review large weekly sales datasets to monitor ongoing performance.
• Issue Identification: Perform routine diagnostic analysis to spot trends, anomalies, and operational bottlenecks, flagging actionable insights for the wider business team.
• Report Generation: Maintain and execute standardized daily/weekly/monthly Excel reports to keep stakeholders informed of baseline metrics. Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including forecasting, pricing, channel strategy, positive contribution towards the achievement of key KPIs for assigned category.
