Job summary

Decathlon Group in Singapore invites a Data Analyst Intern to join our APAC data team. You will work with local and regional stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and build dashboards using SQL, Python, dbt, and Tableau.

You will explore data to identify drivers and opportunities, translate findings for leaders, and contribute to ongoing data projects. The role is six months full-time with hybrid/onsite work in Singapore and potential conversion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Data Science & Analytics, Statistics, CS).
• Able to commit to a six-month full-time internship.
• Solid foundation in SQL and Python; comfortable with multi-join queries and data aggregations.
• Proven ability to learn and deliver through coursework or prior experience.
• Able to translate technical findings into plain English for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local and regional leaders to understand the business context and define success.
• Explore, clean and analyse data using SQL, Python, dbt, and other tools.
• Identify drivers, patterns, opportunities and root causes in business performance.
• Design Tableau dashboards and automated tracking tools used by stakeholders.
• Communicate findings to business leaders and iterate based on feedback.
• Apply documentation, version control, and data quality checks in projects.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers openly with your project leader.
