Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a data-focused assistant to support audit and inspection projects for six months. You will work on data extraction, validation, and research to inform proposals and initiatives.

Responsibilities include data analysis, cleansing, and enhancing dashboards that monitor technology adoption within audit firms, using Excel and other analytics tools. Strong attention to detail and basic AI understanding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Accounting, Audit, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or Finance.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Python or similar.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and cleansing with attention to data quality.

• Assist in improving accuracy of dashboards used to monitor technology adoption in audit.
• Perform data extraction, checking and cleansing to resolve data quality issues.
• Support digitisation and maintenance of historical inspection cases in the CMS.
• Assist with data management and analysis using Excel and other analytics tools.

Join a team where you’ll work with real-world audit data, dashboards and emerging AI applications to support data-driven initiatives and enhance the quality of audit and inspection information.

Contract Period: 6 months
Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8.30am-6pm, Fri: 8.30am-5.30pm
Location: Central region

What You’ll Do:

• Support data extraction, validation and research for audit-related initiatives and proposals.
• Conduct data analysis and offsite analysis to support audit and inspection activities.
• Assist in enhancing the accuracy and quality of data visualised in dashboards used to monitor technology adoption within audit firms.
• Perform data extraction, checking and cleansing, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Support the digitization and maintenance of historical inspection cases in the case management system.
• Assist with data management and analysis using Excel and other analytics tools, supporting ongoing audit and inspection projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Min Diploma in Accounting, Audit, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Python or similar applications.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and cleansing, with strong attention to detail when identifying data quality issues.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including different AI tools and their applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
