Job summary

Tech Mahindra (S) Pte Ltd invites a Data Analyst to own ETL processes across APAC regions in Singapore. You will support ongoing improvements to operational processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliable reporting for a major financial institution.

The role focuses on data modeling insights, data quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and external providers to onboard new data sources and meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science and/or equivalent working experience in IT.
• Experience with ETL tools, especially Informatica PowerCenter is an advantage.
• High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Basic understanding of shell scripts, Python and Unix is an advantage.
• Working experience with Capital Markets’ Data is an advantage.
• High responsibility, service attitude and process-oriented thinking.
• Basic knowledge of financial data is an advantage.
• Experience in working with or management of service providers is an advantage.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain ETL processes which load data from a variety of sources into the data warehouse to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Ensure smooth data processing and the achievement of agreed data quality standards in close cooperation with the team, developers and external providers.
• Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure their implementation.
• Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve issues related to ETL processes, e.g. file transfer issues.
• Handle complex client inquiries, e.g. analyzing data flows and validating results.
• Drive the definition of KPIs and steering of our service provider to effectively run our day-to-day operations.
• Participate in projects to implement new client requirements, e.g. onboarding new data sources.

Job Profile

We are looking for a Data Analyst for ETL processes located in Singapore covering the APAC time zone who is able to take over service ownership and support the continuous improvement of our operational processes.

Weare responsible for delivering reliable services in a dynamic environment to support the reporting and decision-making process of one of the world’s leading financial institutions. In this role you will gain deep insights into the underlying data model of a major financial company, from a technical as well as a business perspective.
