Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager with strong Data & AI domain experience to lead planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

The role blends project management discipline with technical understanding and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable business outcomes through data, analytics, and AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project management experience
• 2–3 years in data, analytics, or AI projects
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management and analytics tools
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams in agile or hybrid environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data & AI initiatives, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, budgeting and risk management.
• Define objectives, timelines, and deliverables with cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, business analysts).
• Monitor progress and manage dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure governance, security, and data management standards are followed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project communications and updates.
• Prepare and present project reports and dashboards to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, manage issues and change requests, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in the Data and AI domain to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative, data-driven solutions. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

This role requires a blend of project management discipline, technical understanding, and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable business outcomes through the use of data, analytics, and AI technologies.

What will you do?

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data & AI initiatives, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
• Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts).
• Monitor progress and manage dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data management standards.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related communications and updates.
• Facilitate alignment between business sponsors, technical teams, and external partners.
• Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and foster strong client and team relationships.

Delivery Quality & Risk Management

• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business and technical requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Support technical teams in resolving blockers and prioritizing work.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in project management, with at least 2–3 years in data, analytics, or AI projects.
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML concepts.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
• Passionate about using data and AI to create real business impact.
