Job summary

UNSD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Data & AI Engineer in Singapore to work across data analytics and AI tooling. You will monitor live data, build reliable AI-facing interfaces, and collaborate with senior engineers on workflow ownership, with hybrid work arrangements and full-time hours.

The role emphasizes integrating data quality controls, configuring MCP-based services, and ensuring secure, scalable AI tooling for internal assistants and external agents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on experience building data pipelines from production data.
• Experience with LLM APIs and prompt design, evaluation, and iteration.
• Understanding of retrieval and search systems and how to evaluate answer quality.
• Ability to work with messy, real-world data and clearly document scope and risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live transaction health and extend trend reporting by method, product, and country.
• Flag transaction-level anomalies and route for sanity-checking.
• Support weekly infrastructure and data-source reliability monitoring.
• Cross-reference ownership/shareholder data against reported figures.
• Support market-stabilization tracking for newer jurisdictions.
• Continuously improve tooling and reporting pipeline.
• Own MCP server quality and reliability.
• Refine agent-facing tool descriptions and input schemas.
• Own AI-powered company search tool quality and performance, and secure data.
• Manage integrations with third-party data and model APIs.
• Build and ship agent workflows and manage model-provider adapter layer.
• Support model and prompt optimization across AI-driven product surfaces.
