Job summary

Fortinet in Singapore is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as the primary technical liaison for a dedicated account, delivering solutions and coordinating issue resolution across R&D and operations. You will apply deep networking/security knowledge to manage incidents, document best practices, and conduct periodic site visits to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years’ experience in technical support in networking/security.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Hands-on security products: Firewalls, UTM, VPNs, RADIUS/LDAP auth.
• Windows, Linux or Unix admin knowledge is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of web app security concepts and vulnerabilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field preferred.
• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE and/or CISSP desirable.
• Experience in system integration and multi-vendor environments.
• Scripting/programming to automate data collection helpful.
• Data center deployment experience.
• Wireless access point experience.
• SQL database experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for the dedicated account.
• Provide technical solutions to address customer issues.
• Centrally manage and prioritize customer issues for timely resolution.
• Reproduce customer environments on lab equipment.
• Coordinate with R&D to resolve product issues.
• Track, maintain and resolve incident reports and support requests.
• Create technical documentation and bulletins to improve knowledge base.
• Update on new releases and features for dedicated accounts.
• Develop best-practice deployment and troubleshooting documentation.
• Conduct periodic site visits for managed accounts.
• Exercise independent judgment in methods to obtain results.
