Job summary

Akkodis Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced cybersecurity architect for a 3-month contract.

You will design and lead the implementation of enterprise security solutions for clients, focusing on endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, and data security. You will collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams to deliver secure architectures and credible PoCs. The role requires strong technical advisory capabilities, hands-on experience with security tools, and the ability to support

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• Experience in cybersecurity solution architecture, security engineering or pre-sales.
• Hands-on knowledge of VMware Carbon Black, Symantec Endpoint Security, EDR/XDR, application allowlisting, email security, encryption, threat hunting, CIS/NIST benchmarks.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise cybersecurity solutions based on customer and business requirements.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, PoCs, demonstrations and technical evaluations.
• Provide technical advisory on endpoint security, EDR/XDR, application control, DLP, email security, server security and data encryption.
• Design and implement application allowlisting and endpoint hardening strategies for enterprise environments.
• Perform threat hunting, security policy tuning, health checks, upgrades and security migrations.
• Support cybersecurity integrations with SIEM, ITSM, vulnerability assessment and other security platforms.
• Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, implementation guides and security documentation.
• Work closely with customers, partners and internal teams to resolve complex cybersecurity challenges and support solution adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise cybersecurity solutions based on customer and business requirements.

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demonstrations and technical evaluations.

• Provide technical advisory on endpoint security, EDR/XDR, application control, DLP, email security, server security and data encryption.

• Design and implement application allowlisting and endpoint hardening strategies for enterprise environments.

• Perform threat hunting, security policy tuning, health checks, upgrades and security migrations.

• Support cybersecurity integrations with SIEM, ITSM, vulnerability assessment and other security platforms.

• Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, implementation guides and security documentation.

• Work closely with customers, partners and internal teams to resolve complex cybersecurity challenges and support solution adoption.

Technical Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related discipline.

• Experience in cybersecurity solution architecture, security engineering, technical consulting or pre-sales.

• Hands-on knowledge of several of the following:

  • VMware Carbon Black / Carbon Black App Control

  • Symantec Endpoint Security / DLP

  • EDR/XDR and Endpoint Protection

  • Application Allowlisting

  • Email Security

  • HIPS / Server & Data Center Security

  • Browser/Web Isolation

  • Encryption

  • Threat Hunting

  • CIS Benchmark Hardening / NIST

  • ZTNA / User Authentication

  • SIEM and security integrations

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or regulated environments will be advantageous.

Preferred Certifications

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, CCSK, VMware Carbon Black or Symantec security certifications are advantageous.
