Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd invites applications for an IT Security Officer (Consultant) to strengthen security operations and governance for government projects. The role oversees vendors, testing cycles, and provides expert consultancy to ensure resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field and 4–7 years in cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of networks, OS, cloud security, and SIEM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, OS (Windows, Linux), and cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee security vendors and deliverables.
• Manage periodic security testing.
• Assess mitigation/remediation for adequacy and effectiveness.
• Review security reports and policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide cybersecurity consultancy and respond to security alerts/advisories.
• Handle incidents and conduct security awareness training.
