TikTok Shop is seeking a Project Intern to contribute to short-term security projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Join the E-commerce Security team to help safeguard the platform, enabling confident shopping and reliable merchant services.

You will work on traceability analysis of security incidents, data-table development for API assets, and exploration of black-market activity with engineers, while gaining practical security analytics experience in a global tech

Formación

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field related to Infocomm Security or CS.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with security log analysis/mining (e.g., SQL).
• Coding experience with Python or similar languages.
• Solid CS foundation and understanding of cyber attacks and defense countermeasures.

• Conduct traceability analysis on e-commerce security incident cases using system logs, traffic data and intelligence data, and summarize attack methods.
• Develop and optimise data tables for e-commerce API assets with engineers, and support data tagging per security governance.
• Explore black industry chain activities in key business contexts, security intelligence collection tools, and investigate operations and profit models.
• Track cyber attacks, perform reverse analysis of black-market tools, and identify weak points in security defenses.

The E-commerce Security team is responsible for safeguarding the platform's security and creating a safe, trustworthy shopping and business environment for TikTok Shop: allowing consumers to shop with confidence, sellers to operate with peace of mind, and influencers to focus on the enjoyment of bringing goods.

As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

• Conduct traceability analysis on e-commerce security incident cases based on system logs, traffic data, intelligence data, etc., and summarise attack methods.
• Develop and optimise data tables for e-commerce API assets with our engineers, support data tagging according to security governance requirements.
• Explore the black industry chain in key business scenarios, security intelligence collection tools, and investigate the operation, profit models, and scale trends of black and gray industry chains with our engineers.
• Track cyber attacks, perform reverse analysis of black-industry tools and cheating malware, restore attack methods and attack paths, and identify weak points in security defense.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics or a related technical discipline.
• Good data analysis skills and experience to support security log analysis/mining, and strategy development (e.g., SQL).
• Coding experience with general purpose development tools (e.g. Python, Spark).
• Solid foundation in computer science and network security, with an understanding of common cyber attacks and defense countermeasures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills to support cross-team collaborations, enthusiastic about learning new technologies and tackling challenging problems in a fast-paced work environment.
• Familiar with internet business risk scenarios, common black and gray industry chain operations, and cheating techniques.
