Job summary

Zenith Infotech (S) PTE LTD. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support day‑to‑day operations and maintain the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure and services, focusing on firewall and WAF administration, SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

The successful candidate will monitor security controls, coordinate remediation with stakeholders, prepare reports and dashboards, and assist in resolving firewall, WAF, and network security issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, network security administration, or security engineering.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewall administration (e.g. PCNSA) and Splunk certifications preferred.
• Experience administering or supporting Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, ArcSight, or equivalent log management and monitoring solutions.
• Experience in vulnerability management, including vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and reporting, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support on‑premises firewalls, cloud security controls, and related infrastructure with policy implementation and lifecycle management.
• Monitor health and performance of firewall platforms and perform preventive maintenance.
• Execute firewall policy changes and troubleshoot security configurations and connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain WAF platforms, including policy deployment and updates.
• Monitor and analyze firewall, WAF, and SIEM logs to identify issues and escalate as needed.
• Support SIEM operations, including log onboarding, data source integration, and dashboard maintenance.
• Develop and maintain security dashboards, reports, and operational metrics using SIEM tools.
