Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of cybersecurity support for system operations by designing, implementing, and reviewing security measures, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with Government policies and client requirements
  • Evaluate security audit reports and assessments, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, host configurations, IT general controls, and risk assessments, to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Conduct reviews and gap analyses on system processes and produce actionable recommendations in monthly reports to maintain compliance with client and Government standards
  • Monitor and manage known vulnerabilities and risks within the Authority’s environment and systems to proactively safeguard assets
  • Perform comprehensive cybersecurity assessments to detect potential vulnerabilities and risks in client systems and processes, driving continuous improvement
  • Design and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity solutions that protect the Authority’s environment against evolving cyber threats and attacks
  • Review and validate system security posture, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and standards by appointed contractors and systems
  • Provide expert guidance and strategic recommendations on cybersecurity technologies and strategies to enhance organizational security posture
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for the client and appointed contractors to foster a strong culture of security awareness
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting forensic analyses as necessary to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technological advancements to inform proactive security measures
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of government security ICT/SS policies, cybersecurity standards, governance, risk, and data management frameworks, with hands‑on experience in the government sector
  • Experience conducting security assessments including risk analysis, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, configuration review, and IT controls
  • Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, applications, and web/cloud services
  • Preferred certifications: CREST, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP
