Job summary

Eames Consulting is partnering with a major financial enterprise to hire a deeply technical Cybersecurity Architect. You will own the security bridge between legacy on-premise data centers and modern cloud workloads, delivering actionable reference architectures and execution diagrams.

This internal engineering mandate requires hands-on implementation, micro-segmentation, identity controls, and end-to-end network security across a complex ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Deep, foundational experience in on-premise network security and data center infrastructure.
• Experience with micro-segmentation and zero-trust implementations.

The Mandate:

I’m currently running a search for a deeply technical Cybersecurity Architect to take on a massive hybrid infrastructure challenge for a major enterprise client in the financial space.

The client is running a highly complex environment where legacy on-premise infrastructure collides with modern, bespoke digital platforms (including AI and digital assets). They need a technical heavyweight to own the security bridge between the two.

• The Hybrid Bridge: You will architect the security controls seamlessly connecting heavy on-premise data centers with modern cloud workloads.
• Engineering First: You are not just advising; you are building. You will produce the actual, actionable reference architectures and execution diagrams that internal infrastructure teams will build from.
• Zero-Trust Execution: Drive the technical implementation of micro-segmentation, identity controls, and network security across a massive, highly integrated ecosystem.

The Profile Fit:

• Infrastructure Purists Preferred: If your entire career has been spent in pure cloud-native environments or doing straightforward cloud migrations, this isn't for you. You must have deep, foundational experience in on-premise network security and data center infrastructure to succeed here.
• Execution Over Advisory: This is an internal engineering mandate. Pre-sales professionals or purely theoretical governance profiles will not pass the technical screen.
• Complex Ecosystems: Backgrounds in high-stakes, heavily regulated environments (e.g., complex trading networks, tier-1 financial institutions, or massive enterprise tech) will stand out.
