Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to oversee and strengthen the cybersecurity posture of our business unit.

Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity, this role is responsible for conducting assessments, driving compliance, and safeguarding systems against evolving threats while providing advisory support and training across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with Group IT, SOC, and project teams.
  • Perform system hardening and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and implement relevant detection and protection measures.
  • Provide cybersecurity awareness training, technical advisory, and regular communications to employees.
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents and support investigations and remediation efforts.
  • Review and update security devices, rule sets, and policies (e.g., Firewalls, IPS, WAF, NAC, AV, DLP).
  • Support audits, compile findings, and track remediation to closure.
  • Assist in maintaining company security policies, SOPs, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review cybersecurity clauses in project contracts and draft security guidelines.
  • Conduct IOC scans, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews (e.g., CIS Benchmarks).
  • Support Head of Cybersecurity in investigations and resolution of security gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity trends, risk management, and incident response procedures.
  • Proficiency in security technologies and protocols across enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls).
  • Analytical skills to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of threat landscape, data privacy, and protection requirements.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP, CISM, SSCP, GSLC, CISA, or equivalent.
