Job summary

HELIUS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Security Operations professional to drive regional cyber security projects, lead incident response, and collaborate with stakeholders across business units.

You will monitor, analyze, and optimize security platforms while staying current with industry best practices. The role requires hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows, network security, and vulnerability management, plus the ability to operate in a 24x7 shift-based environment across

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in Security Operations or Cyber Security.
• Familiar with security products, network devices and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection, web technologies and TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to analyze network data and manage security products (NIDS/NIPS, firewalls, HIPS).
• Experience performing vulnerability assessments and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Drive Cyber Security projects across the region, including vendor management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive and deliver new experiences, products, and services.
• Perform technical deep dives and lead problem resolution activities.
• Stay abreast of cyber security technologies and industry best practices.
• Improve research, operational, and design processes for maximum effectiveness.
• Manage CyberArk security processes, standards, and procedures for control effectiveness.
• Support, maintain, and optimize Cyber Security platforms and systems.
• Monitor, review, and analyze system activities to detect abnormalities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, alerts, and events per SLA.
• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Perform shift handover and document incidents and tasks accurately.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage CyberArk security processes, standards, and procedures to ensure control effectiveness and service quality.
• Support, maintain, and optimize Cyber Security platforms and systems.
• Monitor, review, and analyze system and application activities to detect abnormalities based on established security criteria.
• Investigate, elevate, and respond to security incidents, alerts, and events in accordance with defined procedures and service level agreements.
• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call support when required, to ensure continuous security monitoring and operational coverage.
• Perform shift handover activities and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and operational tasks.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Familiarity with security products, network devices, and security monitoring tools.
• Extensive technical experience with network security practices, including Intranet, Extranet, and Internet access environments.
• Hands‑on experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection, TCP/IP networking, cybersecurity concepts, various operating systems (Windows/UNIX), and web technologies, particularly internet security.
• Ability to analyze packet-level network data and manage Network/Host Security products such as NIDS/NIPS, firewalls, HIPS, antivirus solutions, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience performing vulnerability assessments, managing related tools and processes, application penetration testing, and/or forensic analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment (24x7 operations) and respond to critical security incidents during assigned shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across regional teams.

Additional Requirement

• Willingness to work rotating shifts (day/night shifts), weekends, and public holidays as part of a 24x7 Security Operations environment.
