Job summary

State Street seeks an Early Career Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst to assist in detection, triage, analysis and response to cyber-attacks. The role joins a 24/7 SOC team with a partner team in Singapore, within State Street’s Fusion Center.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates in Cyber Security, IT or Computer Science, eager to learn and contribute to incident handling and continuous improvement in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with a degree in Cyber Security, IT or CS or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Detect cyber security events in real time through centralized monitoring.
• Analyze events from multiple sources (SIEM, IP/DS, EDR, AV, Firewalls).
• Respond and contain cyber security incidents and identify eradication strategies.
• Identify process improvements and new opportunities in tech or capabilities.
• Communicate incident status to Lead analysts and Managers.
• Foster knowledge sharing across the Fusion Center teams.
• Support follow-the-sun operations in the Fusion Center.
