Job summary

A local SME in precision engineering in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Executive to coordinate customer interactions and support order fulfilment. The role entails processing Purchase Orders, liaising with production and logistics, and ensuring timely delivery. Ideal candidates should possess at least 1 year of relevant experience and a diploma in Engineering or a related field. Good communication and coordination skills are essential. This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Qualifications

  • Min. 1 year experience in customer service, production planning, supply chain, logistics, or order fulfilment.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows and planning.
  • Experience in Sales Support or planning functions is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service and Interactions
  • Act as the main account coordinator for assigned customers and handle day-to-day enquiries.
  • Review and process Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy before order confirmation.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Track order status, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Expedite urgent orders when required and support customers with delivery updates.
  • Monitor capacity availability and work with operations to plan production loading.
  • Track customer usage trends, forecasts, and purchasing patterns to support capacity planning.
  • Prepare order reports, fulfilment status updates, and customer activity summaries.
  • Handle escalations, resolve issues with cross-functional teams, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales or supply chain teams in meeting monthly sales targets and resolve customer issue, and service level KPIs
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor / Manager
REQUIREMENTS
  • Min. 1 year experience in customer service, production planning, supply chain, logistics, or order fulfilment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows, planning, or ERP systems (similar to SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Good coordination, multitasking, and communication skills across internal & external stakeholders.
  • Task-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Sales Support or planning functions is an added advantage.
