Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore (Raffles Place) is seeking a Claims Recovery Specialist on a 6‑month contract to help the company recover third‑party claim costs after an accident. You will work with policyholders to guide claims and recoveries, based on relevant experience.

The role requires strong communication, negotiating skills, and meticulous documentation. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, follow SOPs, and strive toward monthly recovery targets while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Team player as well as capable of individual performance.
• Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statutes, regulations and subrogation processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call policyholders daily to gather details and guide them through claiming from the other party.
• Use strong communication to persuade policyholders to proceed with the claim recovery process.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with policyholders and financial representatives, following SOPs.
• Ensure proper tracking and documentation of calls and outcomes; work toward monthly recovery targets.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments/projects as directed by supervisor.

Job description

Location: Raffles Place

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM

Salary: $2800 - $3500/month (based on relevant experience)

Duration: 6 months - subject to extension/conversion

Job scope:

When a third party causes an accident or injury to the policyholder (customer), the company will pay for the claims first. Then, your role is to help to recover these claims from the at-fault third party.

• Call policyholders (customers) daily to gather details and guide them through claiming from the other party

• Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed ith the claim recovery process

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with policyholders and financial representatives, following SOPs

• Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of calls activities and outcomes

  Work towards monthly recovery targets

• Any other ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by supervisor.

Our Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery or customer service experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills
