Job summary

NTS Singapore seeks a Customer Service Executive to manage end-to-end sales order activities and daily customer communication, ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction in a manufacturing environment.

You will liaise with Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering to align requirements, monitor orders, and maintain data accuracy in ERP/CRM while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and order management within manufacturing or precision engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders, including order verification, ERP entry, acknowledgements, and maintenance of accurate data.
• Monitor and coordinate order fulfilment activities, including delivery schedules and commitments.
• Serve as primary contact for customer enquiries, updates, and documentation requests.
• Build customer relationships and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align customer requirements with production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM and ensure traceability.
• Prepare reports on order performance, OTIF, backlog, and shipment status.

Job Description

As Customer Service Executive at NTS Singapore you will manage end-to-end sales order activities and day-to-day customer communication to ensure accurate, timely, and complete order fulfilment for key customers in a manufacturing / precision engineering environment. The role is the main liaison between customers and internal teams such as Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering to secure on-time delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, your key responsibilities are:

• Process and manage customer orders, including order verification, ERP entry, acknowledgements, and maintenance of accurate order data
• Monitor and coordinate order fulfilment activities, including RDD/PDD management, shipment schedules, and customer delivery commitments
• Serve as the primary contact for customer enquiries, order updates, documentation requests, and service-related issues
• Build strong customer relationships and provide timely resolution or escalation of order, delivery, and documentation concerns
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering teams to align customer requirements, production schedules, shipments, and engineering changes
• Maintain accurate customer, order, shipment, and backlog records in ERP/CRM systems and ensure document traceability
• Prepare and analyse reports on order performance, OTIF, backlog, shipment status, and past-due orders for management and customer reviews
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, support continuous improvement initiatives, provide team backup support, and perform other assigned duties

Job Requirements

• ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of customer service, order management, quotation, or project coordination experience within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and engineering change management (ECR/ECO)
• Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Effective analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
• High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and system discipline
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams with a continuous improvement mindset
