NTUC First Campus Limited is seeking an experienced academic leader to oversee the Chinese curriculum across centres in Singapore. The role sets standards for curriculum quality, drives program development, and ensures smooth operations in a dynamic education network.

You will partner with senior management on strategy, coach teaching staff, oversee staffing and scheduling, observe classrooms, and uphold MOE syllabus compliance while fostering a safe, engaging learning environment for students

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chinese language, literature, or education.
• Minimum 5 years leading Chinese curriculum writing and teacher management in Singapore’s education context.
• Strong MOE syllabus knowledge and curriculum drafting/vetting skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the academic function across centres, setting standards for curriculum quality and teaching practice and making day-to-day operational decisions that keep programmes running smoothly.
• Partner the Head of Business on academic strategy, programme development and the operating rhythm of the teaching team, and represent the academic function in management discussions.
• Direct curriculum specialisation: write, edit, and enhance materials for Primary School levels, including Standard Chinese and Higher Chinese.
• Vet curriculum updates and assessment papers to align with MOE syllabus standards across PG to Sec 4.
• Drive end-to-end planning and execution of June and December holiday enrichment programmes.
• Oversee daily teacher operations, including relief scheduling, roster management, and leave/MC coverage.
• Perform classroom observations and provide actionable feedback to maintain high teaching standards.
• Drive teacher goal setting, performance reviews, and direct mentorship to staff.
• Interview candidates, select teaching staff with management input, onboard and run training sessions.
• Establish safe learning environments and ensure SOP compliance for data privacy and administrative workflows.
